Fully Fit Anderson Ready to Shine

Manchester United playmaker, Anderson, has insisted that he is going into the new Premier League season fully fit and ready to fulfil his potential at Old Trafford.

The Brazilian star has struggled with a series of injuries in the past two years, robbing Sir Alex Ferguson of a player who had previously been key to a lot of the club’s success, since arriving in 2007.

Despite arriving at United under the pressure of being labelled one of the world’s most exciting young midfielders, Anderson played with maturity beyond his years, establishing himself as a crucial part of Ferguson’s plans.

Knee problems meant long periods away from the live football arena, since 2010, but the Brazilian is back and ready to battle the club’s midfielders for a place in the United starting line-up.

The 24-year old spent the summer making sure he would be 100% fit in time for the new season, proving just how determined the Brazilian is to make a success of himself at Old Trafford.

“The last two years have been very difficult. No-one wants a player who has a lot of injuries. But I am still young. I am only 24. And I believe I can get through this.

“All summer, I stayed in Europe to work on my knee. Now, I am 100%. I don’t have any more injuries. I don’t have a problem. This is a very big season for me.”

Not only is time very much on Anderson’s side, but his manager has always made it clear just how much potential he sees in the hard-working midfielder.

Ferguson knows just what a player Anderson can be, when injury free, with the manager and United fans hoping that this is the season when the former Porto star cements himself among the EPL’s best midfielders.
