Anderson maturing as a player

In his second season, Brazilian Anderson is really maturing as a player. He has not yet scored a goal for the club, but this could be due to his new role. United often play with a lot of forwards – the two strikers and two very attacking wingers. This leaves the team very exposed if the central players attack as well. Anderson’s new role has found him playing more defensive duties along with Carrick or Scholes.

Look out for betting offers and guess when Anderson will score his first goal. There are good odds for most games he plays in because he hasn’t scored yet.

Although he hasn’t got any goals yet, Anderson has had a few world class assists. His latest was in the 2-2 Champion’s League draw with Aalborg when he set up Wayne Rooney to score the equaliser.

He has also become a regular in the Brazil national squad.
