Anderson

Anderson is being investigated by police after being in an accident in Portugal yesterday. Anderson was pulled unconscious from his car which had caught fire and is lucky to escape with his life.

He was taken to St. Mark’s hospital in the Portuguese city of Braga and treated for concussion, whiplash and shock.

The accident occurred at around 7am after Anderson left a night nightclub with two friends in his Audi R8. He came off the road on a rural road. No other vehicle was involved. It is not clear if Anderson was the driver, but there were two passengers in the two seater car.

If Anderson was at the wheel, it is possible that he will be charged with drink driving and for having too many passengers.

It is unlikely that manager Sir Alex Ferguson will be too pleased with Anderson after his young star has become increasingly problematic. Ferguson’s relationship with Anderson has become strained after an argument where Anderson returned to Brazil without permission.

This latest incident will infuriate Ferguson as Anderson is meant to be recovering from a cruciate ligament injury in time for the new Premier League season.
