Ferguson: Anderson is something special

19 year old Anderson has impressed during an extended run in the absence of the injured midfielder Paul Scholes.
“We’ve been delighted with him and he has proven himself to be a true central midfield player,” said Ferguson.
Ferguson added: “There was an urgency to get him once we’d scouted him, even though he’d broken his leg and had been out for four or five months.

Carlos Queiroz was delighted with the performance of Anderson in their 4-0 victory over Wigan on Saturday. And he shone again in the 4-2 Champions league victory over Dynamo Kiev on wednesday.
Manchester United’s senior players have already pulled Anderson aside to drum into him the dangers of his hectic social life.
There was talk about him being loaned back to a Portuguese side to continue his development, but it looks like he is finally settling in. Much of the early poor displays had their reason though. He was carrying an injury and had just played in the Copa America over the summer.
Lets hope he continues to develop into a fine young player.

MANCHESTER United are to quiz star striker Cristiano Ronaldo after he invited hookers back to his home for a poolside orgy, where Anderson was present.
The girls took a series of photos inside the house on mobile phones — one even videoed and snapped Brazilian midfielder Anderson naked apart from a pair of boxer shorts.
The five girls travelled 60 miles by taxi from Leeds to Ronaldo’s home on the outskirts of Manchester to party with the players, who were celebrating United’s first victory of the season against Spurs this week.
The girls spent around six hours romping with Ronaldo, his team-mate Anderson and several other men in the pool, Jacuzzi and changing rooms.

Anderson is prepared to play second-fiddle to Paul Scholes in the Manchester United midfield this season.
The Brazilian told manutd.com: “He’s a top player with great qualities who has won a lot for Manchester United and I’m looking forward to hopefully playing alongside him. But the important thing is the team. All the players have the same objective and that’s to help the team become successful.”

Anderson is hoping to build on his Manchester United debut

The Brazilian starlet played the first half of United’s Premier League clash with Sunderland on Saturday before being replaced by Louis Saha.
Anderson has admitted his delight at making his first competitive appearance for United, following his summer transfer from Porto, and he is now looking to build on the display.
“It was amazing, not just for me but for my family as well,” he said. “As a young boy it was always my dream to play for a big European club.
“I was lucky enough to do it with Porto and now I am at United. I feel proud to be here and I want to do my best.”
Anderson, though, admits he took his time before joining United because he wanted to continue to build experience at Porto before making the move.
“I heard about United some time ago through my agent but we thought it would be better for me to wait a little bit longer,” he added.
“I was doing well at Porto and knew that joining a club like United would bring its own pressure.
“But when they expressed an interest in me again in the summer I felt it was the right time.
“Joining United is a dream come true for any footballer in the world.”
